イギリス在住のナターリヤ（Natalya Valverde）さん。
あふれる豊かな色彩で動物の絵を描きます。
どうしてこんなにカラフルに描くんでしょう？
さりげなくナターリヤさんに聞いてみたんですが、なぜこんなに多くの色を使うのか自分でもわからない…との事でした♬
もちろん彼女の個性や才能と修練のなせる技でしょうが、
私の勝手な推測が許されるとすれば、彼女にとって絵を描く事は命の輝きを表現することだからなのかもしれません。
色は使う人によって輝きもすれば濁りもします。
無限の色を輝きに変える彼女の感性は、命の輝きを表現したいという願望と無縁ではないでしょう。
さらに、彼女の描く動物には感情があります。
各々の作品から動物の個性さえ感じとれるような気さえします。
動物のカタチを描く事は大切ですが、それ以上に動物各々に個性や生活がある事を、表現しようとしているんじゃないかと思えるんです。
動物に対する敬意と愛情さえ感じます。
こんな事を言ったら彼女は笑うかもしれませんが、アーティストとしての彼女だからこそ無意識に輝かせる方程式を駆使できるんでしょうね、きっと…。

Why do you paint so colorfully?

I find individuality in each of her animal paintings.
Drawing the shapes of animals is generally important in terms of expression, but it seems that she feels that each animal has its own individuality and life, and is trying to express it.
