Kiryl Vasilionok

ロシアからのアート、Kiryl Vasilionokさんの作品です。 魚や、海、果物…とても身近なものをさりげなく描いていますが、その空間や存在を描く力量は素晴らしいですね。
既成の観念にとらわれないで美を追求したい彼にとってアカデミックな場はなじめなかったらしく、独学で学び、ストリートアーティストとしてモスクワでの個展から活動を始めたようです。
2011年に彼は釧路を訪れそのイメージを絵に描いています。彼は以前私にこんな事を行ってました…「前世があったとしたら、私は日本人だったろう」
彼にとって日本は近しいところなんですね。
彼もまた多作です。掲載しきれませんので機会を見てまた紹介させていただきたいと思います。

Kiryl painted his first picture in 1991. He ignored academic education and preferred instead to teach himself. He started out as a street artist and hung his pictures at different private viewings in Moscow. From 1995 he took part in group shows and solo shows (Moscow, Kiev, Sevastopol halls and galleries). From 2003 to 2011 he did not exhibit his work, except privately for friends and at underground shows. He considers painting 
to be an objective and accurate discipline with one proper solution. The task is to find it without getting distracted by former experience, shape, style and concept. He believes that all stylistic conjunctions are occasional and caused by materials, choice or mood. Lack of visual memory, a vague idea of history of art and other people’s experience made freedom in art easier for him.
